I had the loveliest lunch yesterday, a gathering of nine fabulous female authors hosted by Ayelet Waldman in honor of Christina Baker Kline, who is in town promoting her new novel, A Piece of the World. I shared a quote from Ayelet yesterday, and thought I would go around the lunch table over the next week sharing a quote from each of my lunch mates.
