Carmel-by-the-sea Setting

Back to Bookgroups

In all my novels, setting is almost another character. Like Palo Alto in The Wednesday Sisters, Carmel-by-the-Sea in Typewriter Beach is me coming to love a new hometown. My portrayal is as true as I can make it, but compare the reality to what you imagined from reading. And if you visit, don’t miss a tour of Tor House and Hawk Tower!

“Typewriter Beach” (which is a name I gave it)
