Black-GlassLucky all of us who love great fiction: a new edition of Karen Joy Fowler’s Black Glass was released yesterday! This terrific short story collection won the World Fantasy Award.
Karen shared a bit about how she started writing here when her last novel, We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves, first released. That book went on the win the PEN/Faulkner and the California Book Award, and was short listed for the Booker Prize–making Karen the first American to receive that honor. And the post is inspiring. I revisit it regularly.
