I spent a few days in Chicago last week for the Chicago Tribune Litfest, and had a chance to return to Just the Bookstore again. I first heard about this fabulous store after The Wednesday Sisters released, when a gal named Elizabeth Lewis contacted me to ask if she and some friends might do the Avon Breast Cancer Walk under the name “The Wednesday Sisters.” I was absolutely flattered, and long story short we agreed to get together the next time I was in Chicago. Well, we did that, and the way we did it was extra special: Elizabeth put together a Breakfast for Breast Cancer fundraiser at Just the Bookstore. So we not only had fun together, but we raised some money for a good cause, too.
So I was delighted to return while on tour for my new novel, The Four Ms. Bradwells–and really glad to find the gang at Just the Bookstore still as fun-loving as ever.
What’s to love about this store? The staff, the staff, the staff!!! Really, they are the best!
