The Wednesday Sisters was named one of "25 Essential Best Friend Novels" — along with the likes of The Three Musketeers, Harry Potter, Michael Chabon's The Mysteries of Pittsburg, Amy Tan's The Joy Luck Club, and Mary McCarthy's The Group — in the December 5, 2014 issue of Entertainment Weekly.

I'm busy writing now, so only have two events coming up, both San Francisco Bay Area fundraisers for good causes:

The Peninsula Volunteers Author Salon on March 22 and The HERS Breast Cancer Foundation "People with Purpose 2015" April 23. Please check with the organizations for ticket information.

I'll no doubt be doing at least a few events after The Race for Paris releases August 11, so please check back.

And I spend enough time in my local indie bookstores (Books Inc. Palo Alto and Kepler's Books) that you can usually get signed copies of my novels — or pre-order a signed copy of The Race for Paris! — from them. (If you call and they're out of signed stock, they can contact me and I'll fix that!) And please check back for future event dates.

P.S. I had so many questions about the gorgeous (and shockingly comfortable and versatile) yellow dress and navy blue jacket I wore on tour for The Wednesday Daughters hardcover (in the photo at left) and the scarves I wear so often, that I promised folks I'd post a link here to the website of the designer, Camilla Olson Design.
