The Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction

Heads up, short story writers: The 2011 Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction is open for submissions until May 31. This very prestigious short story award offers as a prize PUBLICATION of a collection. Past winners have included Ha Jin and Antonya Nelson. As you may know, I’m not often a big fan of contests with fees, but this one is definitely worth the (very modest) $25.

Good luck! – Meg
