For anyone who, like me, is loving the new Google+ social networking, here’s a way to get a pretty google+ url:
Go to: http://gplus.to/ 
Enter the nickname you want (I took MegC because Meg was already taken).
Enter your google+ id, which is the number stream on the url for your google+ homepage. My home page, for example, is https://plus.google.com/u/0/108054688812012054829/posts, so my id is 108054688812012054829
Then hit “add.”
