A blog for readers and writers, with stories of how and why authors write, how we break into print, and how you can, too. “A writer must teach himself that the basest of all things is to be afraid.” -William Faulkner

Thank you, Jess.

And Diane, I miss my writing group soooo much! When we moved from Nashville to Palo Alto, I knew the thing I'd miss most was my writing group. We keep in touch by phone and email and still share work by email, but we all miss that weekly hunch over the coffee and manuscripts.

Dear Meg,

I just got a copy of your email from Sara Henry, and because I trust Sara on quality of writing, I had to look at your trailer and this website. Your June 18th post nearly made me cry - not sure yet why. I think I miss having a writers group to share with.

Congratulations and I'll pass the email along to several women, including my mom, who I think will want to connect to your story.

Be blessed and may your book be a best-seller.
